Mavis didn't know about the Jellal situation that's why her calculations were off.

Calling Milliana "Lucy v2" for Kagura is diabolical work, and you're not even wrong 😭😭
Also, there are an insurmountable amount of factors driving someone's motivations, which Mavis is literally unable to take into account. She can only act on and plan for the information she learnt FROM the matches, not personal vendettas. She's insanely impressive for being able to run millions of simulations in her head, but Mavis can't account for Sabertooth because she doesn't know that their guild master was dethroned the previous day, she can't account for Sting because he doesn't know that he's fighting for Lector, she can't account for Kagura because she doesn't know she's aiming for Erza, etc. Your opponent's mental state is an entirely different story

but if we don't say anything, it won't be. they've never seen or read FT, so it won't mean anything until it happens. plus it'll hit even harder at that point, like a double wammy.

but honestly, that outro would be a spoiler for that scenario at the end of the battle, so I personally don’t want them to see it yet. I feel like that scene at the end of all this chaos hits hard when you’re seeing and understanding it for the first time

Mavis's prediction could have been correct. She just didn't know what was going on in Sabertooth.
Minerva adviced Sting not to engage combat with Kagura.
That's why when Kagura almost passed him, he suddenly disappeared. If Sting and Kagura had fought there, Erza might still be waiting for Minerva's arrival without Kagura.

A tactician can only prepare for eventualities based on what they know or what they can reasonably predict. Fairy Tail was lacking information (i.e. that Kagura & Millianna saw Jellal and want answers from Erza), so Mavis couldn't take that into account while strategizing. She sent Erza to confront Minerva without realizing that Kagura might specifically seek out Erza, which kinda screwed up their plan. Or, at least, that's my theory. I don't think we're ever explicitly given a reason for why Mavis didn't predict this.

I don't know how far ahead you guys are, but all I can do is recommend you watch the outro/credits at the end of episode 190, it will hit super hard.
Bros, don't read the comments to mine, pls.

I dare say that Lucy of the future will remain in your mind over time. She is my painful finger and end of tears.🥺
