Definitely a must watch.

Also, it does bad in terms of views on youtube which might be harmful for them. Some people even unsub to patreon for a month and come back later so yeah but if they watch it now that’s fine too

In my opinion, it's better to watch things in order, so while this arc might not be in the manga, it's canon to the anime and takes place at this point in the story. Why watch it later? Like, if they do watch it later, that's better than nothing, but I can't picture it happening.

2024-11-01 14:38:31 +0000 UTCI'm honestly shocked by how many people are saying to skip the Starry Sky arc, an arc which hasn't even started yet. All the Fairy Tail reactors I've followed (so far) have either enjoyed the arc or agreed that it was at least worth watching. Even if you don't personally vibe with the arc, shouldn't we give reactors a chance to form their own opinion? If you don't want to watch the arc, you don't have to, but those of us who DO want to see their reactions can't watch videos that don't exist. Maybe they could give it a month or two, and if it's really not enjoyable, skip the rest? I'm also surprised by the feedback because, frankly, I always thought Fairy Tail had some relatively decent anime canon / filler episodes (kinda like Black Clover and, to an extent, One Piece). If we were talking about Naruto, Boruto, or most of the Bleach filler, I would totally understand the desire to skip, but Fairy Tail's anime canon arcs feel entertaining enough to at least give a chance. I assume people are just excited for the next manga canon arc, and I totally get that, but watching a long series means some parts will be better than others. By watching the less enjoyable parts, I think the PEAK shines brighter.

It just wasn’t written in the manga bc the creator, Hiro Mashima, was pressured to hurry up with the manga as the anime was catching up with it. He still very much wrote the story of this next anime arc and has stated MULTIPLE times that it isn’t filler. Won’t mention specific characters for spoiler reasons but there are some that feature in this arc that come back later on, and you really won’t understand the context of their story without watching this. Apart from that, I think you guys will really enjoy this arc for many reasons so I’m hoping that you watch it!

2024-10-31 19:11:26 +0000 UTCPlease don’t skip this next 'filler' arc (Key of the Starry Sky arc) 🙏 This arc gives some well-deserved screen time to a lot of guild members who we dont usually see, helping develop their characters in ways that really pay off later. Mira especially shines, with two of her greatest moments in this one arc! Plus, it brings back so many familiar faces that i know you will love to see and has some great moments for Lucy’s character development. One of the biggest reasons people skip this arc is because it’s placed between two of Fairy Tail’s most hyped arcs, but it’s honestly underrated and adds a lot to the story! The last episode even ties into the beginning of the next canon arc, so skipping it might make things confusing. I think you’ll really enjoy it if you give it a shot!

Also many interesting happenings on this filler arc. I can't specify them to avoid spoiling you guys but you'll miss a lot if you skip. When I first watch it, it doesn't seem like a filler as the happenings are canon and is connected with the main arc.

In terms of the opening the opening is spoilers for the filler arc so if you decide to watch the arc watch it at your own discretion. There is some character development in the filler arc as well as more deep dive into some of the newer characters you noticed so there could be some slight confusion later but nothing crazy that makes you question it and make you feel like you need to watch the arc or not. I don't mind if you guys skip or not but me personally I enjoyed the arc. It always something that you can come back to later for more FT content. Hope this helps, have a good day!

Back in the day I watched this arc but I never watched the filler arc way later on in the show, and it didn't really matter. They do make throwbacks sometimes, but it isn't a whole lot, so it's not bad if you do skip it.
