Added 2020-07-27 08:55:17 +0000 UTCOk, you'll have to forgive me. I got a little frustrated during this one for whatever reason. Now, I know, I know, I'm sure I can research the specific issue that I was having or ask for advice but in the moment, I am painfully aware that I'm recording. I could pause the recording and go look it up but I don't have that much free time and I don't want to lose my momentum or ideas by chasing something that will inevitably send me down another and another and another rabbit hole. Because that's how it goes for me. My brains says "OOOH SQUIRREL!" and I'm off on some kind of 20 hour youtube tutorial binge with nothing to show for it. That's just the way my brain works. And besides, this is the way I've always done it because 1). It requires me to learn on my own and therefor integrate the info better, in theory. And 2). Sometimes doing it this way requires me to come up with creative solutions that I would have otherwise never found. THIS is the concept behind some of the most iconic sounds in Madness Combat. Just force that square into that round hole, add some duct tape, and move on.
