A little word about the gallery: we've figured out the fix to it but not until we've already made the builds for this release. We were a little short on time; the rest of the minor issues will be on Chapter 25's release.

What's next?

MTWY Offscreen in less than a week. Just a little something to add to the MTWY lore or whatever was done between the lines as I mentioned.

This chapter was nerve-wracking for me; even when I posted it, I got jitters. EO, though, did a great job this chapter on his side of things; props to him.

Technical Update

-1041 Renders, 15 animations

-Removed the input name at the start of Book 2 to lessen the immersion break since I'm sure the "None None" name error won't appear anymore, and if it does, we have the name changer feature.

-New choices and exit screen UI; still adjusting it.

Chapter Update

I have deeply mixed feelings about this chapter. On the one hand, I like it, on the other, I dread the time when the monkeys are all together in one scene. Still, the group scene in this chapter isn't the most difficult to pull off.

This is probably the most I've worked on a chapter script-wise, I kept reading it over and over but only now as I woke up and started posting this did I realize there is one small scene to be added; it's really small and will only add a little, so this chapter is still good to go.

There are a few choices to make in this chapter that will affect future scenes, Walkthrough attached below.

Where do I begin? Excited to proceed forward, I have everything ready after all.

I have completed the story to tell, the only question that I keep asking is: how do I tell it?

Then I tell myself, it's an ongoing story, I'll figure it out. As long as I follow my continuity code, that nothing published/released storywise will ever be revised, I hate when that crap gets pulled; from anyone. It shows the lack of integrity and dedication in the writing, IMO. Making up as I go along is not my style, that's why even at multiple requests from various people I have not entertained the idea of supporters having any hold on the reins to the plot at all, except for the minor details with little-to-no plot relevance. So please stop asking and wait for Book 4, I'll be happy to collaborate with people and take suggestions then.

Book 3 has me a little baffled at the moment, I'm now unsure if I can launch it before 2023 ends, even though I relish the thought of finally working on a smaller file size once again. Ha!
Anyway, Chapter 25 will be a breeze, aside from a scene that will be quite difficult to pull off.

IMPORTANT for Android users only

Please be advised, that we have modded the Android save location to ease the transition between books and enable users to uninstall the App.

However, your old saves need to be transferred to the new location manually beforehand or you can start over all the way from Book 1.

New Book 1 Android Port: Mega || Gdrive || Mfire

Step-by-Step Process:

-Take your save file from here: Android>data>com.adroid.mtwy>files>saves <<

-Put it anywhere else, then uninstall MTWY.

-Install the new version of MTWY.

-Run MTWY and allow permissions for the app

-Transfer your save file to: My file>internal storage>documents>ModSave

Important, do not transfer the "saves" folder, only its contents, the saved files.

DO - My file>internal storage>documents>RenPy_Save>1-1-LT1.save

DON'T - My file>internal storage>documents>RenPy_Save>saves> 1-1-LT.save
