Content Poll

I started to wonder about what approach would be better.

For now when doing new content I wrote the stuff I felt like writing.

Should I focus on expanding the world and fill it later on or rather develop as much as possible the area I already created? Or it doesn't really matter and I'm overthinking this?

Which bandit exactly? Not everyone have their pictures ready yet.

Hi i seem to have issue with the bandit image at the bait camp to appear it only has the description. is anyone else having this issue?

You gonna see Tank and Scar soon :D By Bartender you mean Shopkeeper? If yes, then if you made the right choices first time the scene with him is a little bit different the second time. And I'm working on a new thing with him for this month update. If you in fact meant Bartender, well... He's going to get a picture next month :P

Hyao

Bartender is a good man, love him so much!(But there are no difference after u spend a night with him, I wish having more conversation about it XD) And I'd like to see Tank and Scar.

That's what I'm doing now. Still I was kinda stressed that maybe it's not a good approach. But seeing the result it seems I shouldn't be worried about it. About the mentor. He's not going to show up soon.

Hyao

Wait one question, how soon can we expect to see your mentor coming back? Is it planned yet?

MaelstromGrim

I'm pro-detail but I think a bit of world expansion once in a while is great too. Like adding a draft version of a new location every 3-4 major updates, and add its storylines bit by bit later.

MaelstromGrim

That's actually the main story. I just didn't put much time into it yet. Disappearing of the teacher, the tasks from him, even what is happening in the lizard tribe and what they call lust curse, it's all connected to the main plot. Lately I was putting more focus on other things though, like bandit camp or working more on the characters itself.

Hyao

True. I guess forcing myself to do something I'm not feeling like to do in the moment probably would make the whole thing worse.

Hyao

I think that's what I'm doing right now. There's one or two patches with expanding what currently is in the game and then there is a patch where something new is added.

I'm really invested in Bernard's story line, so I wish it would be fleshed out first than anything else. That said, I think a really long quest about why everyone is getting horny will give the game a lot of mystery and make people invested in it. Every quest update can then expand on the story, characters, places, and sexy scenes. Even if it's only tidbits everywhere, it would still feel like the game is moving along as a whole because there is a central focus.

I think your doing a great job at the end of the day if your not happy it’s going to reflect in your work so I say keep going I have loved it so far so don’t fix what’s not broken

One option that you could consider is having a patch where you expand the world, and focus more on story, then have some patches in between fleshing out the world you have. I'm not quite sure logistically how that would work because I don't know how you're going about creating this, but it is an option that would balance world expansion and building.

Thanks, I'm glad to hear that. The issue is I have tons of ideas for already existing places and the ideas for new one. And I want to make it all, but I don't have enough time for that xD

Hyao

It's hard to do all the things at the same time. I think I wanted to develop what I already have, but also add some new stuff on the way - which in the end means that the new things are going to be not too detailed at the beginning. I wasn't sure it was the right approach. Right now I'm doing whatever I feel like it, maybe I should make a theme of each update... like the update about Camp, update about Bareshade, update about underground. On the other hand doing less of everything have it's advantage too, because then everyone would have something they like. Hmm...

Hyao

I guess finding the right balance would be the most difficult task. I started to wonder if I'm not staying for too long in the starting area with the same places. And I have tons of things in my mind that I want to implement later, I guess I just can't wait to put more creatures into the game xD But on the same time I have also a lot of ideas for existing characters.

Hyao

I think you're doing a great job no matter what. Developing the content you have already would be great - especially the latest addition: Bandit Camp. So many fun possibilities there! Looking forward to whatever you do - either way!

I personally prefer the focus on already existing areas and characters. I'm already invested in the well fair of a few characters we can't interact with much (Lumberjack) and the fates of the side areas like the Lizard camp. The nice thing about new areas is new creatures and sexual interactions, however, like the basement I felt a bit bored. It makes me curious of why the wererats are a hive mind, etc, but without much explanation to explore it wanes my interest quickly and dampers the excitement of the sexual scenes.

Honestly, my opinion is that the game is great, and I’ve loved every update but I think having story progression and something new to do is always a way to keep engaged. I love revisiting the shop keeper and seeing that slow burn, but at the same time I wanna get fucked by a merman and an elf or something, you know what I mean? I’m sure you’ll find the balance.
