JETSONS - Round 1
Added 2023-11-18 01:57:37 +0000 UTCIn 2015, Warner Animation planned to revive another of their popular legacy characters in an updated Jetsons show. The concept was to retool it as a slice of life adult comedy, a bit like King of the Hill set in a dystopian future. They liked my drawings, but asked if I could make it less cartoony and less like the originals. The appeal of the Jetsons, for me, was in the colorful optimism of 1960s science fiction.
