I'm working on other projects as I wait for the haoris to wrap up and finish.
The bee plush is something that I wanted to design for a while since and made an attempt to sometime last year, but I wasn't happy with how it turned out, so I shelved it, worked on other projects and then finally came back to it with a new updated design!
This snapshot is the old design; I wanted the fabric to be a certain way, but it just wasn't working out.

Project shelved around August 2020.
Then, a few nights ago, while I was working on November's Patreon pin, inspiration struck for a new bee plush design, so I went forward with the sketch:

It's super rough and rudimentary, since I don't work as well with 3D designing. I'm super grateful that those in the industry were willing to work with me on this!
And once I got this diagram sent in, a few more days pass by, and I receive the first simple sample of my bee!

Simple sample means they're making sure the placement of the plush and shape looks good. If adjustments need to be made, then they're not using extra time with embroidery or with more quality fabric to have this sewn up.

I gave an overall thumbs up with some minor adjustments in the wings, but I'm really happy with how it turned out over all!
Look how cute the stinger is:
