I always thought that "Flying Nimbus" was a lame translation in the english Dragon Ball dub. I just finished reading the original dragon ball manga in english and there it's called Kinto'un (meaning Somersault Cloud), in the german dub it's Jindujun from Jīndǒu Yún 筋斗 (jīndǒu) means “somersault” or “flip.” 雲 (yún) means “cloud.” And both those names are references to the somersault cloud Sun Wukong uses in Journey to the West. Btw. Son Goku is just the japanisation for the name Sun Wukong, In Japanese, the name 孫悟空 (sun wukong)is pronounced Son Gokū — it’s literally the same Chinese characters, just read in Japanese. In Taiwan and China, they call son goku just sun wukong straight up^^. The "Nimbus" you heard in this episode had nothing to do with dragon ball, I think they said Cumulonimbus cloud, I just wanted to go on a bit of a tangent on dragon ball because I literally just finished reading it two days ago :D
