Speculating here, but I think Han Li does have some feelings for Mo Caihuan, but attachments are dangerous. I think he's repressing his feelings because they could throw him off his Dao. Even bigger speculation (they don't talk about karma that often in this show): He doesn't want the Karma, it's unpredictable. Cultivators are rare, but miss mo met quite a lot of them, which could be the result of karma, showing how dangerous it can be. I think Han and miss Mo are already connected by Karma considering how often they met again in this huge world.^^
