Celebrating the year of the snake!

...But in my own way!
According to Chinese calendar this is the year of the snake and to celebrate it i took something very far from Chinese culture, but snake related like Potnia Theron, the Mistress of Animals.
She's an ancient Mycenaean Greek goddess, inherited by classic Greek mythology even though she was "split" into several goddess like Athena and Artemis.
Here I drew her as you can see her in the most important statue found in Knossos royal palace, in Crete, Greece.
You can imagine why i decided to draw her, yes, the outfit. Even ancient greek and their ancestors could resist looking at a nude breast and in our civilized world we can't even post a topless lady because it has sexual implications!
