Soldier - World Affinty Suggestions

So, I am writing right now (Incubus and Soldier chapters on screen)—a mental break at the moment. I need suggestions for spell forms for the World Affinity for Soldier. This will probably come up in a future book. World Magic is extremely rare, and maybe I don't need 9 affinities. All I have brainstormed is:

Discordance (20) - identify other worlders

Map the Stars (50) - identify stars that have planets with abundant life

Bridge (90) - connect two worlds with a bridge

I think we need to avoid the "travel to another world" trope since that isn't really the direction of the story, if I'm reading things correctly. If you want it to be about wormholes, though, maybe restrict it to long distance travel on the current world? Maybe teleportation could be faster but have a very limited range. World magic could be much more stable with vastly larger range and more efficient in terms of mana but would require setup on both ends before making the link. Something more along the lines of persistent portals. The problem is that other otherworlders would have access to this magic so why wouldn't we have heard about these sorts of wormholes already? There must be a severe limitation on them. Some other random suggestions: Project Conciousness Project your conciousness to another (random?) world for a very brief period of time. The conciousness would experience the world as if the person were actually there with all senses intact although no pain would be experienced in the case of inhospitable environments. The player would be able to sense things like environmental compatibility. Time passes normally on both worlds. Project Others Conciousness with Consent Project another beings conciousness (with their consent) to another world for a very brief period of time. Project Others Conciousness without Consent Force another beings conciousness (without their consent) to another random world for a very brief period of time. The affected being has their senses replaced by what they experience on the remote world. This is primarily used as an offensive spell. Remote view Remotely view for a short period of time a location that the player has already visited. Recall After the player lays down a recall beacon or marks a location in some way, they are able to instantly transport themselves to that beacon upon demand. Aperature A.k.a. Portals . Much like the video game, the player can create an entry and exit portal. The entry portal can be moved and re-oriented to force another being through. The portals can have different orientations and anything that passes through the entry portal is immediately subject to the nature of whatever the situation is on the exit portal i.e. gravity, temperature, etc. The transportation is mostly one way entry -> exit but enemies could pull their bodies back with effort if they're only partially through the entry portal. Typically nothing can be transported exit -> entry.

Know location or True North - Ability would allow you to know the direction of North or allows you to know the location you are (I.E current region or location. Currently in North America, State Texas. Something like that) Dimensional Membrane - Allows caster to know where the dimensional fabric of reality is weak and allows for interaction with it, entering it could allow for travel to other areas where the membrane is weak. Or allows travel to alternate realities for a short amount of time. Summon Map - allowing you to summon an overlay map (like in a video game) where the places you have not been are covered in the fog of war. Summon Object - summons a random item from a different plane/world Summon Creature - Summons a random creature from a different world/reality/plane of existence. (I am not sure what the summoners use in the world as an affinity, I know charm is a part of it to dominate their minds, this would not do that and the creature would be wild). Slipstream - Instantaneous travel using ley lines. I.E. Travel to or from a dungeon using ley lines, or travel along ley lines in some fashion. I picture this like a fast travel system connected to dungeons and other areas where the ley lines are exposed. Higher affinities could allow for traveling with groups I.E. Greater Slipstream. (remember the T.v. show Sliders?) Maybe as a lesser affinity instead of a map it could be a minimap. One With The Earth - Allows you to replenish sustenance and/or Aether directly from the earth or ley lines instead of slowly through the environment. Know Time - Ability to know the current time. Astral Projection - Self explanatory Perhaps each Affinity level allows for travel and/or interaction with specific planes or worlds. I.E. 20 Affinity allows interaction with Plane of water, 30 Plane of Fire, 40 Plane of Shadow, etc. When I think of Worlds Affinity, I think it would do with something like traveling to a different world or something to do with controlling things within the world. I guess it would be easier if we had a better understanding of what it is you envision.

I have the idea for a lower affinity spell form- World Well Traveled-Always know where you are in relation to where you have been.- I figure it would always give the user a sense of where they have been, in whatever worlds they have been. So the user would know where the entrance or exit to another world, or they would have a general feeling of other worlds for other purposes, like spells for example.
