It is Castile….i know there might be some mistakes as I have fixed a few. Yes it ties to he grandfather! Nice catch! Four ranks of mages: Mage Aspirant (Renna), Mage, Master Mage, and High Mage/Arch Mage. Mage Aspirant is just someone who is identified as having traits high enough to learn magic and is in the Mage College. Mage is a graduate of the college and can cast spells by forming spell forms with their aether and not just using spell forms on their aether core. Master Mage has earned the title by being skilled in many spells. And finally High Mage/Arch Mage (Dacian) have the spells and really high affinity (80+)

2023-08-30 12:29:05 +0000 UTCHow do you spell her name correctly: Castile or Castille? Is it a reference to her grandfather? Castile is a region in Spain that also includes the capital, Madrid. “When I was a little girl, my mother told me of my grandfather. He was from a place called Madridspain.“ (Chapter 50) What is her correct title: Mage, Arch Mage or High Mage? And what is the difference?

2023-08-30 08:48:59 +0000 UTCthanks for the input. the Romans First Legion arrived two thousand years prior in the story. there are others who arrived later....as noted by them using Duke-Count-Baron royalty system. i am trying to hold the Roman 'vibe' as much as possible for the fantasy setting. but keep reminding me if i get to far off my goal

2023-08-29 23:00:37 +0000 UTCI'm really enjoying the way the story is going. Looks like we have good plot possibilities when they arrive in the capital for Castille's trial. Looking forward to seeing how this trial goes. Now I'd like to comment on something that bothered me but doesn't disturb the story at all, it's just my nonsense because I really like the history of the Roman empire. The Romans didn't wear boxers. They had something called a "Subligaculum" that looked like a linen diaper. This subligaculum was worn by both men and women as underwear. If you don't want to use the Roman name it won't be a problem, but boxers in a story that takes place in a world similar to the Roman one is very strange. It is just a suggestion for a future edition. Thanks for the chapter.
