"You're not done," Will, Orym's deceased husband, says, as Orym's soul hovers between life and death.
"I really wish I could stay," Orym whispers as he hears Fearne's voice calling him back.
"I'll still be here. There'll be a time... I look forward to it. Now, go!"
Damn it, Critical Role, you make me go through a box of tissues even when my fave character survives!
And that was not the wildest ride of this episode by far, even. Holy moly, what a rollercoaster.
Weird note: a halfling married to a half-elf is SO SMOL. In Campaign One, I always scoffed at fanart of Lady Allura (elf) and Lady Kima (Halfling) because Kima was always depicted being just a head or so shorter than her lover, but now I had to shrink down Orym three times and it still only works if Will wasn't the tallest to begin with...

Speaking of tissues - Iām re-watching the Mighty Nein, and Iām coming up on a certain couple of Very Sad Episodes; I plan on going through at least a box of tissues! The whole CritRole crew is amazing at creating the most tragic-yet-ultimately hopeful stories.
