Yes, I'd forgotten how easy it is in coloured pencil to do subtle stuff! Like lines around the eyes and such. When doing larger portraits in watercolour, I always put them in there but then faded them out again afterwards, heh - I never quite managed that level of subtle.
First time working on white paper instead of toned. Not quite sure yet which I prefer.
I photographed wuite a few stages on the way, mainly because I wasn't sure myself whether this would work or not! ;) But working in loooots of layers and then blending (fourth step) when i felt I had everything in place worked out fine.
I'd like to take a moment to thank all of you who are still here, or have just joined up! Times are getting hard for everyone, and I've lost a slew of Patrons last month, but I'm grateful to all of you who are still part of this admittedly slightly bumpy ride. <3
Oh, sorry for the edit! I meant to say: I'm going to put up the original of this one (and Caduceus) on Etsy today at 4 pm CET! And also, Inprnt has another free shipping event (until April 4), in case anyone was waiting for that. =)
