I love this scene. And Fingolfin is still has his brocade finery on, as the High King should.

Well I can, because Maedhros looks so young in his remorse and Fingolfin seems a bit thrown and the whole scene is gorgeous and angsty. Meanwhile, the horse is like all horses everywhere and is thinking, 'Treats! Where are the treats? Maybe if I nuzzle at this hand here...?'
