Added 2019-01-28 18:26:58 +0000 UTCDid I mention how much I love my manikin?? Even mass scenes are suddenly so relatively easy to do, especially with views slightly from below or above, which aren't as easy for me without models or ref. Now I have it all just sitting at my desk!
I probably will end up having to move the two sides further apart (edit: done) - there needs to be a clean break between them. That's what the salt'll be for.
There, Maedhros, star pose and two hands. Just remember how nice I can be to you. (Before I put you through the mill again.)

2019-02-01 00:21:51 +0000 UTCIt's called Body-kun (Body-chan is the female) and they're highly recommended. They still can't kneel or cross their arms (pretty much no dummy can) but they help me immensely with envisioning the body at angles.

By the way, is it a particular manikin that you would specifically recommend? It seems like a good thing to have for an artist. :-) (I know you posted something about it some time ago, please forgive my lazyness to go and find it myself) :-D

I was wondering whether The Union of Maedhros as an iconic moment would be "mill" or "nice". After all, that is bound to end badly as well. What was the deal then: once through the mill, once being nice? Or two mills per one nicey one? Well, I'll be insisting on a First Walk scene... I'd love to see that! <3 EDITED: I forgot to say that I love the composition of this sketch.
