Two more little minis for the "Order of the Swallow" supporters
Added 2018-06-07 06:51:55 +0000 UTC... drawn at another ophthalmologist appointment. My eye, incidentally, hasn't got any better, and nobody has any idea if it ever will, and certainly not how to help me. Drawing is only possible in little installments, which is why there's so relatively little new stuff. I have another appointment with my optician, who is actually a lot more helpful than all those ophthalmologists combined; maybe he'll have an idea for reading glasses or something...

My optician was almost angry with me for going to that ophthalmologist at all - it seems our local oph has a reputation for milking private-insurance patients for all they're worth, and he did just that yesterday, did loads of examinations that were completely uncalled for, had all been done several times at the university hospital in Aachen, even when I asked him whether these were really necessary. >:( He also gave me a prescription for a new pair of glasses, which my optician found was way off. Also, the glasses they had compared it to seem to have been from the early 2000s (which was the last time I set foot in there, wisely.) My optician put me down for reading/monitor glasses now - there's nothing that can be done about the blind spot, but at least we can go for an absolute optimum in vision for things right in front of me.
