Okay, I apologize to all Noldorin princes who will have to endure bronze armour for years to come. SO PRETTY, and so much fun to paint!
Fun tidbit: I've taken to listening to audiobooks while painting, and I've always been amused by how listening to a particular bit of text while painting a particular bit of image will forever bring that text back when I look at the image! Thus, looking at the fish in "For Ulmo bore up Elwing" reminds me of Terry Pratchett's Illucidated Brethren squabbling over whether Ankh-Morpork needs a king; the shrikes in this piece here bring back Nobody of "The Graveyard Book" by Neil Gaiman being set up by the man Jack; and the bronze armour here conjures up genes, alleles and chromosomes from Richard Dawkins' "The Selfish Gene".
Aaaaand let's welcome the one hundred and fiftieth Patron: Clara Borges! Woo-hoooo!
