Suggestion box January
Added 2018-01-01 13:35:15 +0000 UTC(Swiped this idea from Franziska.) I'm in need of ideas for my daily drawings (I resorted to painting a Porg last night, which looked totally indignant with me and the world), so save me from indignant drawing sujets!
The suggestions can be anything that might make a good sketchbook page. I can't promise I'll do any given idea, but if I pick one of your suggestions, I'll post it, even if it turns out embarrassing, haha.
Preferred: Silmarillion, Star Wars VIII (some new art will come, I promise), and generally, animals that I can sketch from ref (those are great for gouache practice)! Characters are better than scenes, but since I want to try a technique of gouache for backgrounds and watercolour for figures, that might work too!

I got few more. A few years ago you painted “And Morgoth Came.” Why not also do “And Sauron Came” to contrast two very different comings. (“And Sauron came. Even from his mighty tower of Barad-dûr he came, and made no offer of battle.” Silm, Akallabeth) Another one that would be great to see is Ar-Pharazon’s last moment of doubt before he attacks Aman. (“And at last Ar-Pharazôn came even to Aman, the Blessed Realm, and the coasts of Valinor; and still all was silent, and doom hung by a thread. For Ar-Pharazôn wavered at the end, and almost he turned back. His heart misgave him when he looked upon the soundless shores and saw Taniquetil shining, whiter than snow, colder than death, silent, immutable, terrible as the shadow of the light of Ilúvatar. But pride was now his master, and at last he left his ship and strode upon the shore, claiming the land for his own, if none should do battle for it.” Silm, Akallabeth) And last but not least, I’m partial to owls. It would be great to see some sketches of them – real life owls or owls from Harry Potter.
