Added 2017-01-10 11:38:22 +0000 UTCTrying out a few new techniques and practices I've picked up working with Rebecca Guay. Tonight's the last class with her. A couple of gallery people are coming round to look at the participants' work - I know I have exactly zero chances of getting into galleries with the work I currently do, but that's all right. Whenever I see a piece one of my classmates did that was picked up by a renowned gallery, my train of thoughts goes from wow to jealous to "I'd get bored to death doing that sort of work" or "I'd never feel the urge to create work like that". And as long as I feel like that, and am so incredibly happy doing work like this, everything's good. :)
