For those of you who don't know - I signed up for a class with Rebecca Leveille-Guay to push my work even further, and to get it into galleries and art journals and such. Yesterday was the first session, and oh my, was it good. Rebecca picked the thumbnail that I'd liked most - you'll remember I posted them on Monday - and we went over how to polish it.
Her main mantra for me was reference, reference, reference. I may be quite good at winging things, but I know I wheedle my way out of too many! So I took her advice and got some reference for the face, lightboxed it in Photoshop, changed it so that hopefully, it's not too obvious whom I used. Did it work? Can you tell whose face I borrowed?
