Question (especially for new Patrons!)

Hi all, and welcome, new folks! I've just had a rather unsettling thought: Is it possible that new Patrons don't see my patron-only content until you're charged at the beginning of the following month? I always thought you could, and was totally fine with people who haven't paid yet to get the contents anyway. But apparently, you only see free content I post?

For those of you who joined during May: Can you see the 4 posts I posted yesterday? Or do you only see one of them (the public one of the temple)?

There's a new feature for Patreon, which is "Charge Upfront". It means you're charged immediately when you join, instead of at the beginning of the following month.  When I first heard about it, I felt it was pretty unnecessary. I'm fine with people getting a month of free content before their payment starts. But if that means you don't get any content at all, that really makes me consider enabling "charge upfront" so you can get the stuff you're here for! I've also noticed a few people joining and leaving again before a month was over, and wonder if that may be the reason - they're just not getting their content?

Let me know your thoughts!

If I recall right this is why the "charge upfront" option was implemented by Patreon. Many people would join a Patreon, and leave before they got charged. Taking all the content for free of course.

I've had a couple of those over the months, but I give them the benefit of doubt - maybe it just wasn't their thing!

I was able to see Patron-only content right away. I think the Charge Upfront feature is a good thing. I've recently seen one instance of someone sighing up to see my free content and then disappearing before the end of the month.
