SURPRISE!!! We've been working on a new game, and we're making it available through Patreon!
Our friends at Flip the Table make a truly great podcast about playing truly bad games. (And secretly, it's a great game design podcast too!) We worked with them to create Retail Rejects, a new print-and-play game about collecting cheesy, weird and obscure board games!
Retail Rejects is available to Patreon supporters of Flip the Table or Cardboard Edison--or both!
If you're reading this, that means you're a supporter, and that means it's time for you to print and play your copy of Retail Rejects!
There are two ways to put your set together...here we go!
THE OLD-FASHIONED WAY
1. Visit THIS LINK to download the rulebook and cards for the game .
2. Print everything at home, or go to your local print shop and have them do it for you on fancy cardstock or glossy photo paper or whatever your heart desires. There's a page of card backs if you're feeling particularly clever.
3. Cut up the cards and play games with them! Many people will print on regular paper and put them in card sleeves with old Magic commons or something to help the cards hold their shape and shuffle better. That's up to you!
THE MORE EXPENSIVE BUT FANCIER WAY
A lot of folks go to PrinterStudio.com to make custom cards, so we're providing an easy way to print your set of Retail Rejects.
1. Visit THIS OTHER LINK to go directly to the project on PrinterStudio's website.
2. Click the orange button (which might be blank in your browser) to add the project to your cart. You may need to register a new account with the website. NOTE: Feel free to preview the project to make sure it looks good, but please DO NOT edit the project! That will make the next person who tries to order very sad.
3. Check out using whatever shipping options you prefer. In the US, you can get one deck of the cards with regular shipping for roughly $20. Please note that none of this money comes to Flip the Table or Cardboard Edison...that's just the cost of making a beautiful set of cards on this website.
4. Visit THIS LINK HERE to download the rulebook and study it intently as you wait for your shipment to come in!
(DISCLAIMER: Flip the Table and Cardboard Edison assume no responsibility for orders placed through PrinterStudio.com. The above link is provided without warranty. Consumer orders at their own risk.)
If you have any questions, please reach out! Thanks to Robert Couch of the Building the Game for his beautiful graphic design and illustration! And thank you so much for your support!
