Tor Garadon - The Armor

First painting Video for Tor - The intention here was to work with desaturated shadows and saturated lights. It gives a very interesting reflection/metallic effect for the armor:

I am using the airbrush to sketch the first lights in this, instead of doing it with the brush like I usually do - I hope it's interesting for you and I will try to show you more and more tricks I do with the airbrush, that expand my brushwork naturally. I still ove the brush mainly :)

I have gotten lost in editing lately, which is due to always wanting to present a cohesive and comprehensive result, without too many "repetitive" steps, but it has just not proven to work and I have not met my target goal of videos per month. That's why I will go back to a more "straight from the desk" format, in order to be able to bring you more valuable videos.

With Tor I will also start to switch up my PDF approach - every other video and/or where it makes sense I will put out a "Cheatsheet" style PDF, that gives you step by step pictures and all the colors I used as well as a little idea about the approach I used, so that there is more regular PDFs and at the end of a series you will get the usual highly polished and compiled painting guide.
