Added 2025-03-14 16:57:14 +0000 UTCYou guys are the first to hear (read?) this but I bought a house. Well technically me and my girlfriend bought a house and the bank owns it kinda but yeah you get the point!
I don't know if I told this before but I'm currently 30 (almost 31) and I still live with my parents, yeah I know that is old, but it is very very very expensive to buy a house today. So after nearly 10 years of me and my girlfriend saving our money (besides an occasional trip) we finally had enough for a down payment for a house.
The most important part: I convinced my girlfriend I can use the biggest spare room (there are 2 but the smallest one is really small) as a Bob room! That means more space for more Bobs in the near future!
It is a smaller house but the biggest pro (for me at least) it has a big garden so there is space to build a pond, plant stuff, ...
We are moving at the end of next month so after that you will probably see a change in background in the videos!
ps: Bob says Hi!
ps 2: I need tips on moving ant colonies π

Congratulations! Buying a house is indeed very expensive these days. I'm happy you and your gf were able to save enough to buy one. Wishing you both a very good future in it! As for moving the ant colonies, I guess you just need to make sure the lids are secure and their habitats are snug and tight into a closed of bin. Make sure the bin has no holes for your hands to grab. That way they are still contained in there if anything did fail and there are jail breakers.. I mean, enclosure escapees.

Kudos to your parents, but no shame in adults living with other adults π Stoked to see as much as you'll share! Don't forget your "before" photos!
