Pure nightmare fuel. We have those all over Texas, but they like hiding in shoes, under rocks, in boxes, or any other dark place until the sun goes down.....then they come out of the dark waiting to sting anyone brave enough to walk to the bathroom barefoot.

2025-02-09 08:53:36 +0000 UTCHe is a devil scorpion. You can also find it in Arizona in the wild! Not very venomous ( not medically significant) but I bet it would still hurt a lot if it stings! But it is definitely less venomous than the bark scorpion

2025-02-06 21:38:37 +0000 UTCI am assuming he is one of the less venomous species. This what I get in my house, not too occasionally: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona_bark_scorpion the most venomous in N America. Glad that's the worst of it.
