I did something like this many years ago by mistake. I finished a large bottle of vegetable juice (mostly tomato) then put the lid back on and left it on my desk for months. I don't know why I didn't throw it out. It grew mould. Massive mould. It also had no odour at all.

2025-01-19 12:59:40 +0000 UTCI'm guessing it will go fast now, in just 1 day it went from nothing to a few ''spots'' of mold. To be clear, for the ''water'' conditions aren't completely filled with water, I just sprayed some water in them because that is one of the things mold needs to grow. However now I think about it, a jar filled with water with a piece of bread in it would have been a nice fifth condition!

2025-01-15 19:10:02 +0000 UTCLoL After finding an ancient mouldy apple in a forgotten corner of my kid's room I'm guessing that he must just be aiming at being a scientist too. jk 😆 That mould is coming along nicely. I wonder how long until it completely takes over, especially in the "water" jar.
