Yeah maybe I should have used fresh bread but I think the bread here contains less preservatives so it should mold!

2025-01-05 18:01:28 +0000 UTCI distinctly remember doing something similar in 2nd grade to learn experimental design! I ended up as a biologist, so mission accomplished. I even did a version in the science for non-majors class I taught once I realized how many students had literally never done an experiment before. Unfortunately, what we discovered was that cheap American white bread refuses to grow mold. I estimate it was approximately 75% preservatives by weight.
