June & July 2023 Compilation [Download]
Added 2023-07-06 01:33:10 +0000 UTCAgain, sorry about the lack of a compilation last month! I'm really really sorry I still don't get how I completely missed updating you guys, but the drawings made both in May and June are included here!
Not surprisingly, there's a lot of summery themed sketches here!
I have a lo of very vague ideas and I really wanted to try "putting stuff on paper", to better visualize what I'm thinking about and begin to better understand those ideas?? [And also just getting them out of my system I guess]
There's a lot of stuff related to some OCs [Homestuck fanOCs, but humans this time], from [05-13b1] to [05-16a4], and then a big chunk of the June drawings. [Lot's of Ivie!]
The environment on the pics [05-17a1] to [05-17b3] are ideas for my asura Koppali's lab, which is where Tekki also spends a lot of her time. And I felt it might be a good idea to start thinking about an environment I could make for her in 3D as well. This one might be a bit ambitious but it's a start!
There's a few other notes and ideas for other environments. A lot of Beaches because... well my brain is stuck thinking of summer themes, but also I'd love to make a 3D Beach environment in blender eventually! There's also some surreal ones, or sorta futuristic, and then weird shoujo-ish stuff going on in the pics starting with [06-03b].
I'm sorry there's not much NSFW lately, I think what's going on is that I've been getting more ideas for little animations, so I end up with stuff like [06-01a1] - [06-01a2], which are little notes instead of full drawings. Also it might be that since a lot of the commissions are NSFW, It's like they're filling my "nsfw drawing" quota haha
Finally some more playing around with Tekki's model! It's so fun making silly faces... I hope it's as fun to animate her as well!

Ooohh!! Yeah I definitely see what you mean about that scene in spirited away!! Yeah yeah!! I wanted to do something that felt a little out of place and surreal, but honestly now that you mention it, that scene already captures that feeling perfectly, because it adds more of a peaceful vibe than just an odd look. 💗Haha, freckles and tan lines are so fun, I think it might be another reason I like this character, Ivie, so much, because I get to have a lot of fun drawing those! Thank you! I am enjoying the summer a lot more now that the rain has started and it's not as hot :'D I hope the weather has been enjoyable as well and that hopefully you are having some calmer times!! ;v;
2023-07-21 00:08:40 +0000 UTCDefinitely digging the summer vibes you've got going in these pieces, though 06-04a2 and 06-23a1-- and --- reminded me a little of Spirited Away, where there's the train that goes through the low water? If that makes any sense... Anywho, honestly, I think it's a nice set. Like I said, good summer-y vibes. I'm never one to turn away freckles and tan lines, so enjoyable all around for me. >;] Hope you're doing well, and enjoy the summer (or...winter? Depending on how your climate zone is doing) and getting to have some time to yourself!
