Tier 2 - August 2021 Compilation [Download]

Compilation of all files from August! Including the process pictures of the Bakura sculpt, which was the Monthly Piece. [As well as the previously shared Tekki process pics. Also a few screenshots I took of an older model attempt of Karkat Vantas]

This month some of the drawings I made were:

2 pinup girl sketches, they are very rough since their purpose was as a note [for background ideas] and to play with colors!

Revisiting character ideas: A blue demon dude, he has no name yet but he's a character I'd like to play with more. Also a light blue pixie dude [light blue skin + white hair/fur] from a sketch I made on October 2020, it's also a note to not forget the character.

I felt a lot of nostalgia for the almost winner Lime from Saber Marionette J, so I ended up sketching her, Cherry and Bloodberry!

For some reason I really wanted to try drawing some Goth ladies?? So I did that, plus like... emo/scene flavor for the bust sketch... This got me thinking about how this is of course something I was surrounded by, well, we all were probably, in the mid 2000's, and while I was kinda fond of the look, I never engaged with it, not even with drawings. So yeah that thought is what pushed me to actually try drawing something about it instead of just looking up some photos and leaving it at that.

Berium.
I always struggle a bit to think about ideas for seadweller's underwater rooms. Especially just thinking about purpose and the character's movement through a room, so I thought I'd try making a vertical room that just exists to look pretty, wtih a big aquarium display, tall stone walls and some pretty looking aquatic fauna at the bottom. I don't knwo how good the idea is but I'm glad I got it out of my mind and into a sketch.

Kami & Anet.
As I was drawing and thinking about the goth girls, my mind went to Kami and Anet, and I wanted to try and find styles for them. I tried to make a scene/emo style Kami, keeping her blue color, and then I thought Anet could have a grunge (?) style.
