PSD FILES.
Shampoo Pieces. to better understand in which order to view the PSD files here's my process: I first do the sketches, then the lineart, then I add the colors below the lineart, and finally I often do corrections [lines and colors] on top of everything.
When checking my PSD Files and checking out the layers, It is usually best to look from bottom to top. I try to leave some of the sketch files and organize them a bit so you can compare with the final lineart.

[NOTE: The drawings in the PSD file and the finished piece I post might differ a bit, the reasons are (1) I use SAI and then export the file as PSD, since so many drawing softwares are able to read it, including free ones like Krita or Gimp. But there's limitations and often some layers, like effect ones, won't work the same. I also tend to add finishing touches using Clip Studio Paint. And sometimes these details will also be missing from the File.]
BLEND FILE.
To open you can download Blender. I did this piece using Blender 2.92, but 2.93 Long Term Support just dropped and it should be able to open it as well [download here]

Keep in mind that the Eridan piece is still just a sculpt! It was not retopologized, and the weight painting/skinning is not ideal, lots of little issues, especially around the neck. But you can still move him and play with the model a bit!
Also a few things like the cape, scarf, and the Grease Pencil lines for these pieces and the body were added after Eridan was posed! Best to hide them if you're going to move Eridan.

Wow that's awesome that you've been playing with WoW models in blender!! And I'm glad the instructions are useful! Though I imagine since you've got some experience with Blender already you probably already knew most of it! I wanted to make some sort of instruction/guide so even someone that's never opened Blender could play a bit with the model if they wanted! ahh I want to beg not to look too much into that Eridan piece! hahaha, it's a bit embarrassing since it really wouldn't work as a model at all, but anyway I do understand you and it's definitely interesting to compare! I hope when the Tekki mode is finished it will be more fun to look at though! <33 Glad you liked them!! They were so fun to draw after all!
2021-06-06 08:33:48 +0000 UTCDefinitely easier to use the Blender file with your instructions, and interesting to compare since I've been playing with World of Warcraft models in Blender lately, and so seeing something absolutely newly built (like your Eridan) vs. some of these models/skeletons that have been getting modded and worked on by those devs for years and years. Also, love the 2 Shampoo pieces! ^^
