Computer broken: Got to send it in for warranty

As mentioned before, I had some serious issue with my computer. I thought the motherboard was the issue, but I tried 3 different ones and 2 different models. I also got new RAM, so basically that leaves the CPU and/or PowerUnit as culprits, but maybe something else I haven't accounted for. So far, I spent more than 40 hours from Sunday to Thursday evening, on top of that I consulted with a repair shop, various friends, etc.

My efforts so far to make the PC operational as fast as possible have failed.

I still have warranty, so I will send it in, but it is in Germany, so it likely will take about 3 weeks to get back to me... so it should be back, when I come back from the Panzermuseum.

Meanwhile I will prepare on my old notebook the various scripts for filming.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

What is "Framework stuff"? It was a custom built PC by a company I used before, previously with no issues. I actually never had an issue with any PC in pretty much 30+ years (my first PC was 386DX40 in 1992(?)). It also seems to be a really weird problem, I suspect that some part of CPU responsible for memory management is damaged that it still works with some boards sometimes, but not with others... or some weird Power Supply Unit problem. I talked with several people and everyone was confused as well.

Luckily not, I also have 2 back up services for off-site backups.

Hope you haven't lost any data.

This may be unwanted, but have you looked at the Framework stuff? Pricey up front, but EVERYTHING is user replaceable. I bit the bullet and I refuse to go back now. I still have a Dell Windows machine as a compatibility device and it's literally falling to pieces. The 13 with the AMD 7840 does everything I need and basically can't be broken for more than $500
