Happy Tea Friends

"Thank you Phil, we'll take it from here!" amber waved at her boyfriend who Enthusiastically transported her and her cousin, Emy to this country side house owned by their best friend Rina. Phil kissed Amber and bid farewell to the three girls. Before leaving he checks to see if Emy was comfortable. The small and young girl smiled and nodded in confrimation. With that, Phil exited the door, "Call me if you girls need any help!" He reminded. The girls giggled and replied in unison "Ok Phil!"

The sound of car engine and tires against gravel faded and the tranquil atmosphere in the living room once again settled. Rina wobbled and hopped quickly towards her chair. She thought how few limbs all three girls have, combined! Literally just an arm and a leg! Her leg ached from her hopping earlier. She had struggled to open the door when her friends arrived as she doesn't have any trace of arms to utilize. She slumped and sighed, before smiling and turning to her visitors "So, it's just us now!" The girls giggled. "Where's Christy?" Amber inquired, referring to Rina's care taker and maid. "Oh she called in sick today" Rina sighed. "You're lucky to have Phil, Amber" she complimented "I know right!" Amber replied, "Though sometimes when he's away I have to take care of myself and Emy" Emy nods profusely and blushed. "How are you, Emy?" Rina asked. Emy seems embarassed, normally shy and an introvert, she only has Her cousin and Rina as her best friends. Since Rina have been away, she missed her so much. Back then Rina would hug her everytime they meet. She looked at Rina's round shoulders and quickly blushed and looked down. "Oh, it's ok. It's a looong story" Rina assured Emy "But we have the whole day to catch up! What do you say?"

Rina stretched her one leg and announced if they'd like some tea. The other two nodded and beamed. It has always been their favorite past time. Wasting away time, just chatting and enjoying each others company and of course, drinking tea. This time it proved tricky, for usually Phil and Christy would assist the girls. Besides, the last time they had tea- about a year ago- Rina still had all four limbs. Emy blinked and stared at Rina's slender leg. Amber shifted in her seat and leaned forward to inspect Rina's stumps, or the lack thereof. "How are you adjusting so far?" She asks, concerned about her usually active girl friend who looks troubled by her aching calf. "Erm, actually I rely so much on Christy" she twirls her sinlge foot and curls her leg so it rests below her hips, in the empty space where her left leg used to be. she nestles her round hip against it comfortable- a habit she's developed which helps support her legless side when she sits. "But I do things on my own, from time to time" She continues "I like challenges, and now our challenge is to prepare tea!" Emy shifted her bottom and looked down at her breast. "Im sorry, I want to help but=" Rina cuts her "Ah, Emy! I wish I can still hug you!" Emy blushed "Amber and I will take care of it, just wait here, and dont fall down!" She assured. Emy nods but her face still looked worried. Rina instinctively wanted to pat Emy's head but remembered she couldn't. Extending her leg, she jerked her hips and got up. Amber fruffs Emy's hair and scooted towards the edge of her chair. She turns around easily. Without legs in the way, she can pivot her torso with ease using her single arm. Bending her torso, she slides down her butt and twists her hips while supporting her weight with the elbow on the cushioned seat. Soon she was on the floor, adjusting her bra which had been lifted uncomfortably from her rubbing against the chair. Rina wobbles briefly and, once she gains balance, hops after Amber who was now scooting towards the kitcen.

Emy sighed as she watched the two leave. Their movements are not normal, to say the least, but at least they can move! She looks at her shoulders and shrugged. It's not like she misses having legs or arms anyway, rather, being born limbless meant she has the slightest clue what having them must be like. To her world, she is immobile and almost completely dependent on other people to take care of her needs. Being the youngest in the troupe, she constantly gets pampered and isn't allowed to get into troubling situations. But the last time she felt a true sense of independence and freedom of movement cost her a swollen temple, and bruised lip. "Don't fall off the chair!" She anxiously reminded herself as she feels the weight of her boobs pulling her forwards. She shifts her bottom and slumps back against her seat.

A few moments later she hears Rina approaching. Her foot pattered against the wooden floor, making soft thuds as she approaches the table. She held three tea bags by the string with her lips. After settling on her chair she smiles at Emy, who was noticeably blushing again. She waits for Amber who was having a tough time scooting whilst holding a stack of small plates in her hand. After a while, Amber arrives at the table and sets the plates. "Pardon the delay!" She jokes, shrugging her shoulders. Rina leans and distributes the tea bags on the plates."Ill get the tea pot and cups" She said as she got up. "Uhm" Emy hesitantly replied, "wouldn't that be hard?" she asks, looking at her friend wobble slightly, struggling to keep her balance on her single foot. Rina pouts "ah, I cannot carry breakables or open containers" she sighs and slumps back on her chair. Amber smiled and gestured for the other two to settle. "I'll do it, but Ill take a while" She enthusiastically reminded before scooting away, leaving Emy and a sweaty Rina. "dont worry, we'll tell you what you missed" Rina affirmed.

"So, I figured you must be aching to know what happened" Rina started, prompting Emy to turn her head back to her. "Sorry, I was distracted" Emy replied. She is concerned because Amber forgot to bring her skateboard which she uses to move faster. "ah, dont worry about Amber, she can handle it!" Rina assured "oh and thanks for reminding me!" She grinned "I have a suprise for you and Amber" She excitedly announced. "It's supposed to be a surprise, but Im so excited to tell you anyway!" she slides her phone on the table and flicked to unlock it. After swiping through pictures she secures the phone with her toes and lifts it so Emy don't have to lean to see and risk falling. "I ordered two of these top grade automatic wheelchairs. One is custom made so you can control it with your chin or mouth" Emy's eyes widened and she blushed. She squirmed excitedly and looks back at Rina, almost questioningle "Yes! you like it?" Emy nods profusely. Both talked and talked, their laughter and joyful commotion got Amber curious. They barely noticed her approaching for she was too small compared to the towering chairs and table. She was pushing a tray filled with cups and a tea pot. she smiles triumphantly as she settles them one by one on the table. She dusts her hand on her shirt and climbed her chair. The two were still giggling when she finally settled, sweat trickled on her temple. She wipes her temple with her arm and sighed in relief. Placing her hand on her hip she tilts her head and asks "I wonder what on earth have you two been giggling about?" She raises a brow and feigns sarcasm, which she is playfully good at. "Oh nothing" Rina lied and held back her giggle. "It's a secret!" Emy clumsily blurted. Rina wanted to face palm, She is genuinely amused by her limbless friend's innocence.

The three spent the entire afternoon chatting and catching up with each other's lives. Mostly, they talked about how Rina lost her limbs and how she is recovering and adjusting. Despite the unfortunate predicament the three best friends have to endure, they never seemed too troubled or sad about it. Indeed, life is so much easier when they have each other! Add to that a few chairs, some good tea and a lazy afternoon. How they drink the tea... Well, I'll leave that to your imaginations :P
