The Museum Remastered - comparison shots!
Added 2020-07-17 01:12:19 +0000 UTCSo these are some shots I'm just aching to share :D I'm posting them in order of new/old/new/old, so just open up the thumbnail and tab right.
Not every detail has been replicated. There were many things about the original set that I wanted to change or alter, either because I never got the chance to do them better back then due to technical/skill limitations, or because I settled for something I didn't like, or because I ended up doing something that, looking back, just didn't work out as well as I thought they did at the time.
That said I think the remaster is doing a great job at capturing the spirit of the original set and so far I am very happy with it! Over the weekend I'll be doing another post in Craving+ on facial expressions which I'm putting a lot of time and attention into.
Lastly, since there's a story being told in the remaster, I'll be creating a comic from these renders that will be Patreon exclusive. So everyone in Desire+ will get it when it's done, and it won't be sold on the A3D store.

It was amazing then and it's looking like it's going to be out of this world with the remake! What's really making my eyes bulge out of their sockets is the remake of Kayla's outfit! That pink dress with those sexy pink shoes is breathtaking! It's also really neat to look at these comparisons and see how far your talents and skill have progressed. I love it when artists do things like this! Outstanding work as always!

2020-07-17 01:57:39 +0000 UTCYou know, I actually can't blame you that much for thinking that, but I can tell you whole heartedly that this is not the case for the set as a whole. I'm putting a lot of effort into their expressions because the vividness of their expressions in the originals was one of the reasons the set did so well. Just hang in there, more previews to come :D What I can say btw is that I chose to change the expressions in the middle comparison shot because the wide-eyed innocence in Kayla's face then didn't fit at all with her character now. That's part of why this isn't strictly a remaster, more a remake.
