New hair for Tati?

So, I'm working on the December release on one PC, and on my Patreon Exclusives on the other. This is working out pretty well! Should be done with most of the Patreon Exclusive content over the coming week.
Meanwhile, I'm working on Tatiana's hair. The reason why is fairly simple: her hair model has never been particularly good. It looks nice, sure, but it lacks a lot of functionality and is difficult to use in a variety of poses. The mesh is also fairly simple: it's just flat ribbons of hair that don't look good from the side at all, so with Tatiana I'm constrained to a lot of front angles.
I've been looking at this hair model for a while and decided to try it out. It kind of goes back to the old Tatiana model in that it's a center part, but it's a bit more fluffy and obviously not sleek. I feel that the sleek style has sort of become part of who she is, but I also really like how this looks.
So I wanted to get your take on it. Good, bad, either way is fine? Let me know!

You know, when I first tried this new hairstyle I was like naaaahh because it was a center part and I was just so fixated on a side part for Tati. But now that I've rendered her interview out I'm like... how could I go back? This mesh is a huge upgrade, especially in terms of functionality. So it's staying!

2018-12-17 02:46:00 +0000 UTCThank you, I really appreciate that. I think original V4 Tatiana was a bit too cartoony looking so when I redesigned her for G3 I was very, very happy with the result. But yeah I've been bothered about the limitations of her hairstyle for a long time I just never had a good replacement. I think this is it. I'm currently rendering out a shot that I'll put up in a few minutes, that'll convince anyone who's on the fence :D She looks amazing now. So yes I could rotate and I probably will. But for animation I definitely won't use her old hairstyle, if for no other reason than that it was never gonna hold up in animation in the first place.

I think this hair gets us closer to the first version without losing all that's great with the newer version. Couldn't you have this new hair as her "default" version but then have it sleek sometimes, just like you've changed Marie's style on special occasions? On a side note: I love how you're always looking to improve on things. It looks like the girls keep getting more unique physically as you develop their stories. Yelena and Marcela's (the one on the banner) new hair styles are such an improvement. The small changes to Breanna are great. All-in-all I think this Tatiana update is beautiful.
