Help me settle on a good mobile wallpaper resolution

So I'm currently working on getting out the 1080p wallpapers for both 16:9 and 21:9, three per. But I also want to include a mobile wallpaper resolution, and I have no idea what works. Don't get me wrong, I own a smartphone, but I don't really do anything with it except call and text people. Everything else I do with my PC.

So those of you more active on your smartphones, what's your preferred resolution? I think it's best if I just size it up to something that's practical for you guys, rather than find a resolution online only to discover that it's not optimal.

Oh, nice! This is exactly the kind of resource that I need. Perfect :)

I prefer 9:16 mobile wallpapers. 9:16 wallpapers work on my Android without any cropping. This blog shows many common mobile device resolutions and most are 9:16. https://mediag.com/blog/popular-screen-resolutions-designing-for-all/

That's horizontally oriented. I currently have a wallpaper on my Xperia that's vertically oriented, and if I swipe between desktop pages on my phone (or I guess you could call it the app screen, I dunno what the proper terminology is), it remains fixed in place. In the past, however, I've had horizontally oriented pictures that I've taken myself as background and then when I swiped towards the right, the background would scroll along with it. Are these things I need to keep in mind when designing mobile wallpapers? I realise I'm coming off as a total luddite but it's my supreme lateness to the smartphone show that's to blame for this xD
