The Syntakt presets from our Kraftwerk video
Added 2023-04-03 12:53:27 +0000 UTCWe are already busy working on the next "Drum Patterns Explained" episode, but today we found some time to save and export the Syntakt sounds from our Kraftwerk video as presets for you. You can load these into your Syntakt with the Elektron Transfer app. Here are some additional remarks:
CP ROBOTS BASS: Automate the filter envelope depth to make the filter "sing" a overtone melody in addition to what the bass plays.
CP ROBOTS CLICK: Overlay these on your bass notes to make them more clicky.
CP TEE NOISE: The three percussive noise elements (high, low and glue) from our Trans-Europe Express version. Lower the track volume of the glue noise a little.
CP TEE SNARE 2: This is the brighter snare that's used to play the fills.
CP WHOOP: A simple sine sweep. Don't hold the note for too long, this can get really ear-piercing. Set the delay time to about 15 and the delay feedback to 45.
CP BEEP: The telephone-like beep from our robots intro. We sequenced these notes: B4, A#5, D#5.
CP BRRRT: In the video I performed this using a 1/48 retrig modifier. The Hologram Microcosm turned this into a dystopian air raid siren. Lovely.
CP ZONG: The deep bass sweep effect from our robots intro. We played a D5.

Hi Abel, those are just sound presets, no chords or notes. But this time we included The Intern playing most of the keyboard parts in the video so you can see how they are played :)
