Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F (Drum Pattern No. 38)

This LinnDrum LM-2 drum pattern is featured in Harold Faltermeyer's "Axel F" - which is also known as the theme from Beverly Hills Cop. It contains a very interesting and lively four bar Hi-Hat part that makes use of three velocity levels.

Hi Benjamin, for a few tracks we actually added the whole song structure as an overview. Sadly this proved to be much too time consuming so we had to stop doing it so we could focus more on the patterns and the videos.

Just watched the "Drum Pattern Explained" yesterday (again) and was wondering (tell if this question is too pushy): Wouldn't it be great to not only have the patterns in the cheat sheet, but also the sequence of patterns for the whole song .. as @defjeff said, I am learning the synth lines (left hand and right hand are still fighting who plays correctly) and I would love to have the drum sequence as a backer .. It would be great to program all 4 parts and the tell the trusty drum machine to play the patterns in the sequence 1-2-3-4-1-1-1-4-4-2-3-2-1-1-4-3-2 (this would sound not like to song at all, but it would be a means of notation) Waking up from my dream now .. What a fortunate coincidence :) Do you have any advice for The Intern? She's having a go at the track in the next few days. What synth did you use?

I was going to ask you for this one a while back. I learned the synth lines to get the feel of Harold's funky octave bass technique. Thanks Captain!!
