^^^ this right here! all of the things Lauren mentions are a great idea. I subscribed as a patron because of the way you break things down. Its very accessible for me who is a seasoned musician, but a beginner when it comes to programming a drum machine to the best effect.

2021-08-29 10:58:17 +0000 UTCMy feeling is there is already an overload of gear-focused content on youtube - reviews, tutorials, etc. What you guys are so good at, and what I'd like to see more of, is videos about the *art* of drum programming and drum machine performance, regardless of the gear being used. So things like the 101 videos, breakdowns of famous patterns, and the Jeff Mills performance breakdown. I think these are where your style really brings something fresh and new. For example, I'd love to see videos on how to program toms and hats specifically, or a video on how to humanize things like hats to make them sound less mechanical. Or maybe some deep dives into creative uses of common features like parameter lock, motion record, substeps, etc. Anyway keep up the great work!
