Hey guys! This week I worked mainly on writing and editing the Malaysia scenes.

Like I said last week: coming back to this with some fresh perspective has really helped. I edited four scenes, added some new beats and options that I think will make it more fun to play through, and cut some of the stuff that was overwritten.

To which I say thanks and stay the hell out of my source code motherfucker. (Just kidding, no hard feelings. If there’s a chance to name a hacker NPC in the story later, I’ll try and name him Javier. 😂)

Our illustrator lovely Victoria helped me figure out the best way to implement avatar skin tones in the next release. She’s also doing some reworking of the neck and small breasts based on user feedback from the most recent release (thanks sandcrawler, Literat0r, Nymphonomicon, Keshira, Emisary & Zephyrous).

GENERAL VIBE CHECK
I always kind of hated Malaysia, I hated how it felt like this long PowerPoint you just have to click through to get to Bangkok. By adding in some alternate paths and more player choices, it feels much more engaging, interactive and fun.

I’m really excited with the feel of it and I’ll get straight back onto it for a couple more hours right now! 🦀❤️‍🔥
