Weekly update #4: Crafting system #1

At the base of it we will have the following main ingredients which we'll use to craft our items:
We have planks, cables, duct tape, nuts and bolts, metal, rope, cloth and bricks.
Using these you will be able to craft thing like: crates, bandages, a hammer(used to harvest some things for example turning a metal barrel into metal), shovel, battery recharge station, shelves and more. If you have any ideas of useful items you can craft using these ingredients please leave them in a comment and I will take them into consideration!

I have also made a system where you can store one item in a certain place and then pick it up, which will be useful with shelves. I also changed the outline colour of the items and interactables to the matching UI red.
I also added some visual instructions to the interaction system telling you what will happen if you interact with the object.

At the beginning of this week I have also implemented the system to give the Plague doctor skin bundle to the people who have purchased it through Ko-fi(everyone will have it in the next update).
Overall things are going great but a little slow because there are many back end things that require some change in order to work with the crafting and building system like the items and inventory slots which just takes hours of testing code and making sure it works both in singleplayer and multiplayer.

"Next update release should be on 1st of May, I know it is quite some time but I need this time in order to prepare for the following events:
-Endless Replayability Fest (13 May)
-Steam Next Fest: June 2024 (10 Jun)
During these steam fests the demo will be available to play again and I plan to make a "full release" version by then where the game will have a ton more content, some of the features planned for the update that will take place on 1st of May are:
Building and crafting mechanic with multiple materials (planks, metal, duct tape, cloth, etc.) and most of the craftable items will either be consumables or objects to be placed inside the bunker like crates to store items, etc. The crafting and building mechanics won't be too complex but they are needed in order to expand the survival aspect of the game.
NPCs Outposts which will be a place with characters that will give you quests and have a certain reputation level which can go up or down depending on your choices with each NPC. Having a good reputation will get you some free items from each NPC once in a while or stealing from them will make your reputation worse. You need to be wise with your decisions because some endings or items will be unlocked only by helping certain NPCs.
The Infinite Graveyard Level which I will mostly be a surprise until the update release
and a ton more content like new rooms in each level, a radial menu(replacing a requested quickbar/hotbar), new entities AI remake and jumpscares, and many more!"
