Weekly update #2
Added 2024-03-04 20:06:08 +0000 UTCThis week was still focused on the new UI, I mostly learned how to do UI animations which will be seen in the popups (located on the left side of the screen). These popups will tell you when your hunger or thirst are low, when you won't be able to regenerate stamina, when your health is low or you're bleeding, etc.
The way I animated these popups was by making a scalable tileset inside of photoshop

The status square has been split into 7 different images where the middle part from each side is sized at 1px lenght and 69px height, and this is the part we stretch inside the animations in order to make the popup animated, I posted this on twitter and there's a link below to show the full animation.
This is an image with the final result, there is still the actual popups functionality to be implemented which I hope can be finished this week along with the whole UI animations. I also plan on adding a small on screen UI when hovering an item because the crosshair which was present at all times on the screen has been removed.

Note: After the work with UI and Items remake, I will be working on the crafting/building system, once that Is finished I will be talking with people who ordered commissions from Ko-fi to fulfil them and after that there will be an update.
