A consultant advised us to trying working in two-week development "sprints". This is our first attempt!
Hi everybody! This sprint is off to a great start.
You'll see on the Trello that three tasks are now complete. We've created a writer's template for some NPCs we're planning to introduce in the near future; we've updated the Arousal notifications to work with the new Sex Engine rules; and we've implemented Dynamic Dresses (which means that the agent's dress can ride up and/or be undone during sex scenes, allowing writers to create more tension).
Also, seven other tasks are currently in progress. This itself is a big change in the way we tend to work; because I took a few extra days to get organised at the start of the sprint, team members have been able to attack other targets while I'm working. We won't be able to judge how effective this new technique is until the end of the sprint, but early indications are positive.
Today I started "wireframing" the new sex scene. The idea is that we'll build up the structure and mechanics of the scene, using the new Sex Engine rules and very simple language, so the scene works from start to finish. Once that's done, we'll work through the scene and add in the detailed words and dialogue that make the scene feel descriptive and real.
I'll work on it more during the next dev day, which is tomorrow. See you then!
