Not every day is productive
Added 2019-10-09 17:42:44 +0000 UTCI want this blog to be something you can rely on to be an accurate window into what's going on between releases. That means that, as well as reporting progress, it's important to report to you honestly when there's a lack of progress.
As most of you know – thanks to the support of our amazing Patrons – I'm leaving my real job so I can work full time on Female Agent. I'm actively working towards my exit, and expect my replacement to be appointed in around five weeks.
Unfortunately that's left me with a lot of things to wrap up, especially over the next two weeks, and today I found myself getting sidetracked by many long phone calls. The upshot of all this is that I didn't get a chance to write today. Sorry. :-(
We did achieve something good today, though. In an effort to become more organised, today we set up and started populating a new Trello board to track individual development tasks & planned features.
In the short term, we're hoping this will make us work and communicate more effectively as a team. In the future, I think it would be great to share this Trello with you – it could serve as a complete list of the features that are proposed, planned, in progress, or ruled out, which is something I've wanted to get out to the community for a long time.
Okay: sorry for being personally unproductive today. Tomorrow is going to be way better. See you then.
