Coming in 1.1: avatars with faces!
Added 2017-09-01 19:32:23 +0000 UTCMy original plan was for faceless avatars. I thought it might be better to leave facial features to the player's imagination. Here's some of the feedback I got about that design decision:
"Scary." "Off putting." "Disturbing."
So as part of my "improved Barbies" project, I'm adding actual human faces to the avatars, mostly so future players won't realise what a fucking psycho I am for drawing pictures of women whose faces have been erased, and expecting everybody to think that's just fine.
This will allow the player to wear different makeup to glam up their agents for social affairs. I'm also going to experiment with changes to the agent's Mood being reflected in facial expressions rather than a line of text.
