Trouble downloading or opening files?
Added 2020-09-04 14:58:28 +0000 UTCIf you are having trouble downloading or opening files, here is a quick guide that should help you. If you have any specific issues not addressed here, send me a private message.
What is a .rar file?
I try to upload .zip files when I can, but most of the time I have to provide .rar files instead. This is because Patreon allows a maximum files size of 200 MB. Using .rar allows me to break the files up into different parts.
How do I open these files?
(If the .rar file is in multiple parts, see the last bullet point.)
- If it's a .zip file, windows can open it natively. If it's a .rar file, you'll need a free program called winRar to open it. Download winRar here: https://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
- Once you open the .rar file, you have to drag and drop the contents onto your computer before you can open the inner files.
- If the .rar file comes in multiple parts, you need to download all of these different parts to the same location on your computer, then ONLY open part 1. Drag and drop the contents of part 1 to your computer. All other parts will auto extract with part 1, as long as they are all in the same location.

Thank you for the help, it worked.

I wish Cricut would have made it easier to line things up, but I understand it would be hard since all printers print a bit differently when it comes to margins and centering. I had to print the template, or a test file, and then feed it into the Cricut and cut it out. Then I measured how off the cut was vertically and horizontally. Then I adjusted the placement of the template in Cricut design space... it's a huge ordeal. But once you have the right measurements, everything usually goes smoothly. Every once in a while I have to readjust, but not often. I think the only way to help anyone is to make a video on it. I found one on YouTube, which is how I found out how to do it. Let me see if I can find that video again...
