Updates on Advanced Potion Making, Exploding Snap, and More...
Added 2019-05-29 20:13:03 +0000 UTCHey! It's been a while since I've mentioned a few projects that I have had in the works for quite some time. So I thought I'd give you all a quick update.
First of all, I've fixed the typos in the Hogwarts Diploma templates, editable PSD, and Design Pack. Thanks for pointing those out!
Next, the Exploding Snap bulk order. I still want to do this, but to be honest it has been low on my priority list. I have so much stuff that I'm working on I really have to manage what's most important - my new DIY projects and paid collaborations/requests always come first. Things have been so crazy busy for the past several months that I just haven't had time to get the bulk order figured out and set up. Here's what I do know: I will be funding the bulk order on a crowdfunding site like gofundme. Once the target is met I will make the order. The decks will all be sent to me and from there I will have to send them out to each of you individually. I figured I could take that opportunity to include special things like maybe my signature on the box (choice of inside lid or on the outside of the box), a thank you card, and possibly a sheet of instructions. I haven't got all the fine details worked out yet, but you'll all be the first ones to know.
And finally, what everyone's been waiting for, the Advanced Potion Making Book replica. Yes, I'm still working on it. This is an extremely large time consuming project for one person to take on alone. If all I was working on was this project, I could probably finish it in a matter of months. But since I try to upload a brand new DIY every week, my time is limited. Where I am right now is: I have at least half of the content written but not edited. I have the cover designed and ready to go. I have a few of the inside pages fully complete with textures and the HBP notes. I still need to write about half of the content, then proofread and edit the entire book. After that I will do layout for each page, the textures, effects, and the HBP notes on the inside. Then I have to create a print layout and hand-bind the book, record the DIY, create an alternate Copyright Free version, etc. Still quite a lot of work since I'm shooting for 250 to 300 pages. I don't know when it will be finished, but eventually it will be. Maybe I can get it done before 100k subscribers and include a copy of it with my 100k giveaway!
I hope this answers any questions you may have had. If you have a question about something else, feel free to ask!
