His deal is he used to serve under a Greed demon, but his love for wealth and earthly possessions over The Greater Evil caused to be kicked out of hell, which he very spitefully responded with a good "fuck those guys, I'll make my own fortune". He now serves as a mercenary/pit fighter, in hopes of amassing a huge fortune
