I've been inspired recently to organize my camera equipment to start taking with me on my nature explorations and frequent hikes I've been doing in some incredible natural areas. It's a bit more weight to carry around on the trails, but I think it will be worth it, and the extra weight can only make me stronger!
In this photo, is a concept I want to keep working with for my nature self-portraits. This was just off a dirt road, and I didn't have to go far on the trail to get this shot, but I plan to shoot at some pretty incredible places, so stay tuned for this new series I'm starting that I will be making into a book and postcard set!
Oh, and funny story... a couple of hikers walked up on me when I was shooting this! They were actually lost, and I quickly put on a shirt (but no pants) and basically hid behind my camera while I gave them directions on how to get back to the trailhead. I felt good helping these people out, and getting some fun self-portraits in the process! π
more soon!
