Futa's Bounty Comic: Rebooted! – Page 1

Alright guys, I'm finally doing it! This is the muscle futa comic I've been wanting to make for years, but I felt forever unprepared to take on such a big project when my art style was always changing and evolving.

Well this month I finally took the plunge and got to work on it!

I think I've got a really fun story to tell, that will include all the same kind of juicy futa visuals you would see in my pinup art, but now it will be telling a bigger story that should make it more enjoyable and hopefully enhance the visuals with added context to make them even hotter!

The inks are done for pg1, and I have a good amount of sketch progress already made on pages 2-4, with the story outlined for another 20 pages beyond that.

We'll meet Thessaly on page 2, so think of this first page as a prologue to establish some stakes and do a bit of world building.

The most important piece of lore to know about the Kingdom of Norg is that magic is highly illegal there. All forms of sorcery, enchanted items, and even discussion of forbidden magical knowledge within the borders of Norg is punishable by banishment, imprisonment, or death. This ban on magic ostensibly keeps the peace by preserving law and order.

But deep in the forests of Norg, far from the capital, the ban on magic use is harder to enforce.

And so our story begins with a crime scene:

A band of 5 bounty hunters approach the scene of wanton wagon destruction:

Page 1 is a "cold open" that introduces us to the flavor of this world, with a group of new characters that will serve a very specific purpose to the story...

Let's take a closer look:

Fronk Swald – the no-nonsense male Human tank.

Æluræl Oriumber – laconic female Elven Hunter who only speaks in single-word sentences.

Da'iel Oriumber – brooding male Elven Rogue who never speaks, twin brother of Æluræl.

Glita Bronzebum – mercanery female Dwarven Paladin who doesn't heal or wear much clothing, or do anything that gets in the way o' hammerin' and swearin' oaths.

Marjorie Beckett – cunning female Human bounty hunter, a skilled Tracker & Trapper, and a notorious Trollop in her free time.

The quarrelsome quintet takes stock of the crime scene:

I would love to have every page in full color, but of course that would take me a lot longer, so I'm going to focus on inking the first dozen pages for a complete issue #1 before committing to a full coloring. However I may color a few panels here and there, to help me figure out color palates and designs for new stuff. I'll be sharing my WIP more frequently going forward.

I held back posting page 1 until I had enough progress and momentum built up that you wouldn't have to wait so long for the next couple pages. Sometimes I can do 2-3 panels in a day, sometimes 1 panel takes me 2-3 days if it has a ton of detail.

I'm thinking I'll be doing a lot more frequent WIP progress updates on these pages since they can have 6-9 panels each.

Tomorrow I'll post my progress on page 2, it's already fully sketched and halfway inked!
